8 Fully automated system specifically designed to clean Anilox rollers. Anilox roller rotates while the cleaning nozzle traverses the length of the roller. The poly beads actually get inside of the Anilox cells to break-up dried ink without altering Anilox cells.
8 Clean one roller automatically while simultaneously tending to other work. User can choose to clean different size rollers with fully automated systems, therefore reducing unproductive downtime required with cleaning.

IST has developed several formulations of media available : Ultra Media Our standard media is the most tested media on the market today. It has performed perfectly in hundreds of tests that it can clean cells completely without any erosion to the anilox surface. It was proven to clean an 800-line screen anilox roller 400 to 500 times without any damage or degradation to the roll. It provides a long recycle life with no abrasive characteristics. A special blend media was requested of us that would assist in cleaning hard-to-remove stains from the anilox. Sometimes chemical cleaning would leave a staining residual that would show up in the print. This media has a special ability to help remove the stains without abrading the surface like other harsh abrasive systems also proven technology in the aerospace industry. Laser Media Extra fast media was designed to cut the overall cleaning cycle time on large rolls in half. It still is very safe for the ceramic surface, but due to its design, the life cycle is cut in half. It will allow a quicker cleaning cycle without the abrasive characteristics of other systems. Some metalic inks were very hard to remove from the cell structure, chemicals wouldn't clean it, brush were too big. This media is very soft and malleable, which allows it to literally grab the ink and gently pull it away from the roller. It has a slightly diminished life span, only recycling about 75 times. Fine Media This very special media was designed for the new Yag High line of screen rolls - 1000, 1200, 1500. Some of these rolls have wall thicknesses of only 3 micron, yet this media will not hurt the surface.
